Mimi Vold l Founder & CEO

With over 20 years of building and scaling up the operations of venture-backed technology companies, Mimi is perhaps best known for navigating businesses through critical inflection points accompanying aggressive growth. Her leadership has produced significant and measurable inflection points that increased the value of past companies.

Originally from Silicon Valley, her trademark style of radical candor and distinct focused portfolio operations skill set have successfully guided many companies. Among them are a professional services firm challenged by stunted growth; an online video platform needing to reinvent itself; a PE-backed medical device provider outgrowing its revenue model; an early stage VC-backed collaboration software provider poised for growth desperate for capital infusion; a transaction processing and data integration provider to restructure its global talent workforce; and a founder-led gaming software provider transformed into a global PE-owned organization through unprecedented growth.

Mimi’s keen ability to spot people, structure and roles that are out of alignment has made her a trusted partner to founders/CEOs, investors, board members and executives. She recognizes that the hardest part of running a company will always center around three things: People, Money and Timing. It’s her job to help clients get it right.

She has guided many founders through the ebb and flow of growing pains with very real—often frank—conversations and confrontations of “mindset mistakes,” and organizational blind spots that, if not dealt with, will directly impact the valuation of the company and ultimately the bottom line.

Mimi serves on the Board of Directors of several firms and was recently nominated for both the Atlanta Business Chronicle 40 Under 40 and Turknett Leadership Character Award. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia-Terry College of Business, Business Strategy Program and holds a B.S. Degree in Business Management from The University of Phoenix.
